Peanut Tempeh

Flavourful Peanut Tempeh

Serves: 2-3 

Prep Time: 10 minutes  

Cook Time: 20 minutes 

  • 200 g Tempeh natural
  • 1/4 cup (½ dl) coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter (or any other nut/seed butter)
  • 1/2 cup (1 dl) vegan worcester sauce 
  •  1-2 tsp sambal oelek
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • A few drops of sesame oil (can be omitted)
  • 1 pinch salt (can be omitted)

Eat with

  • Black or white rice
  • Quinoa
  • Salad-for example diced cucumber & mango
    1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
    2. Mix the coconut milk, worcester sauce, lime juice, sambal oelek, sesame oil, peanut butter into a skillet. 
    3. Cook the tempeh in the sauce for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce has been reduced & is thicker. 
    4. Serve with rice & salad, for example diced cucumber & mango. Enjoy!
